Outstanding Student Presentation Award for PhD student in Geophysics
Michael Wack, PhD student in Geophysics received an award at the biannual Castle Meeting 2008.
At the 11th Castle Meeting Michael Wack was granted a certificate of excellence for an outstanding student presentation on the topic Towards a better understanding and correction of inclination shallowing via automated anisotropy of anhysteretic remanent magnetisation (AARM) measurements. The bi-annual meeting was held in Bojnice, Slovakia and covered topics of paleo-, rock- and environmetal magnetism. Michael Wack is currently working on his PhD thesis at Munich Geophysics.
