DFG richtet neues Schwerpunktprogramm unter Münchner Koordination ein
DFG will establish a new priority program (SPP) under the co-cordination of Munich Geophysics. The program will investigate the geodynamic evolution of the South Atlantic and southern Africa. Particular emphasis will be placed on the interplay of deep earth processes in the mantle and processes in the lithosphere.
In dem Projekt "South Atlantic Margin Processes and Links with Onshore Evolution (SAMPLE)" untersuchen Wissenschaftler unterschiedlicher geowissenschaftlicher Fachrichtungen den Zusammenhang zwischen der Dynamik des Erdmantels und Veränderungen an der Erdoberfläche.
