Munich Geophysics successful in DECI-5
Among the 50 scientific projects that have been awarded supercomputing resources in DECI-5 are two involving Munich Geophysics.
On Octobre 7 DEISA announced the results of its call for the fifth round of the DEISA Extreme Computing Initiative (DECI). Among the 50 scientific projects that have been awarded supercomputing resources in DECI-5 are two involving Munich Geophysics. The two projects are:
- Seismic Signature of Plumes and the Heat Budget of Earth's Mantle (SAPHERE) by Bernhard Schuberth
- Seismic Tomographic Inversion and Verification of Earth Models (SETIVM) by Josep de la Puente (now at Instituto de Ciencias del Espacio, CSIC-IEEC, Barcelona, Spain)
